Mayaya is one of the Amars who is obsessed with Records of Three Kingdoms and makes constant references to events of that time period. She tends to get easily excited, especially about food, and often shouts instead of speaking.

When she was younger she was teased about her looks. She was called "Contract Killer" due to her scary looking eyes, which lead her cover them with her bangs, but she was then referred to as "Bamboo Broom". Kuranosuke tells her she has the looks of a model and has her become the second model for the fashion show, by bribing her with capsule toys.
